I’m Jacob Long, a passionate Software Developer with a degree in Computer Science from Southern New Hampshire University, where I focused on software engineering. I thrive on tackling new challenges and am constantly driven to learn and improve. With a solid foundation in coding, problem-solving, and communication, I bring creativity and attention to detail to every project I work on. I'm currently seeking opportunities to grow in a permanent career, where I can apply my diverse skill set and make meaningful contributions to innovative teams.
I worked at Advanced Metrics, a software development company that builds software for human services. I work in a hybrid environment with colleagues from around the world to develop and maintain Advanced Metrics products. Daily tasks might include developing new features, managing databases, and fixing bugs. During my time at advanced metrics I help migrate their data from a legacy application to their new application
I worked as an intern with Fulton Bank’s support center. At Fulton Bank, I was tasked with assisting Fulton Bank’s employees with their technical issues. This includes password resets, file accessibility management, and assorted remote troubleshooting. I conduct these tasks via Email or Phone call in a professional manner.
